Biography

Geoffrey Bacon (Native Village of Tanana) joined the firm in 2024.  He previously clerked for Jennifer S. Henderson of the Alaska Supreme Court and interned with the Alaska Native Justice Center, where he provided support to Tribal courts within Alaska, and assisted victims of domestic violence, including appearing in a protective order proceeding in Alaska state court.

Mr. Bacon graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2023, where he was an Articles Editor for the California Law Review, involved in the Berkeley Native American Law Students Association, and volunteered for the Native American Legal Assistance Project. Additionally, Mr. Bacon was a teaching assistant for the Pre-Law Summer Institute hosted by the American Indian Law Center and a summer associate at the firm.  Prior to law school, Mr. Bacon worked in human resources for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, and labor relations for the University of Alaska and Alaska Public Employees Association.

In addition to his law degree, Mr. Bacon holds a Master in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.  He received his B.S. from Cornell University in 2011.
